my tv has RCA only, ... my tv has RCA only, and i have a S video cord? that'll connect from my laptop to a S video to a RCA converter, but when i connect them all together i get nothing. i'll try and draw a diagram below. so far i can only get the audio on the tv.

Cheap? 90% of the? ... Cheap? 90% of the? people that watch this are going to have to buy a VGA to RCA/S-Video adapter, and that's not cheap. If the computer has the right plug or the TV has a VGA, it's pretty intuitive as to how to connect.

just buy a VGA ... just buy a VGA Cable for £5 or so and? install free software that stops sound coming out of ur laptop/desktop (sound to sound jack needed (£1 or so online) and makes audio come out of ur tv & thats it (Source: i do it myself) £6 is really cheap
